Meet Caitie
“Each client is as unique as their homes should be. I love getting to know my clients and discovering what is going to make them feel comfortable and at peace when they come home everyday. My idea of ’success’ is for my clients to find that close tie between aesthetic and function in their home. This has been my intent with interior design from the start of my business.”
What started with a love of art at a young age, manifested itself in an interest in interior design while studying at the University of Alabama. Caitie’s first job was an interior design internship under Erika Powell of Urban Grace Interiors in Santa Rosa Beach, FL. She had an invaluable summer of learning both high end residential interior design and also the intricacies of small business while working there. Shortly after, she graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design. Caitie began her professional career in Atlanta, GA working for the famous design house, Dan Carithers Interiors. Under Dan’s direction, she assisted with the last Southern Accents Showhouse. After several years of working, she studied for and passed the NCIDQ certification, the design industry’s qualifying exam in proficiency and design knowledge. Shortly after this, she accepted a position of Interior Designer, Creative Director & Buyer for an interiors & antiques firm in Nashville, TN.
Caitie founded Caitie Morgan Interiors in 2014 after moving back to Birmingham, AL and has since expanded her design portfolio with residential and commercial projects across the country. She currently lives in Birmingham with her two children (one on the way) and husband. Apart from design, her passions are spending time with her family, traveling, painting, and antique shopping.
